Dvd Flick

Sometimes when I run DVD FLick my computer freezes.
I installed more RAM, doesn’t help.
Perhaps my processor is too slow.
Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum

Do you have this problem only with DVD Flick? Do you have latest version installed?

Yes it only happens with DVD Flick.
I tried unstalling it and re-installing the latest version.
Did not help.

Being the only software causing problems, it seems a bug. Maybe you can report it to the developer team

Thanks, I will.
Will tell u how I got on.

I have deleted all my downloaded movies that I dowloaded since dvd Flick gave me a problem, this seems to have worked. It must have been a bug. How come McAfee did not find it? I ran McAfee to check each download.
I have been told that WinAvi is a more reliable program, what is your opinion?

I prefer DVD Flick and have had no issues with it. A bug is not a virus, but could have just been a conflict with another program on your PC that was corrected with the new download.

Thanks for your help.

It might be a buggy codec.

Google k-lite codec pack. Standard works fine for most people.
