If you have ImgBurn installed then go into common setting write and select ImgBurn as the burn engine it is much better then the VSO burn engine.
BTW…usually this issue can be linked to poor quality media :iagree:

when you go to imgburn.com and click on the download at the top left and it takes you to another page they are all the same download just mirror downloads, the one at the very bottom is straight from the imgburn website

well i added it and followed the steps from the youtube video u sent me and it still didnt burn to the blank dvd i got a multitude of error msgs from dvdfab this is crazy

when was the last time dvdfab was working correctly?

lastnight at like 4am

are you experiencing problems with other softwares? have you restarted your computer recently?

please do a reinstall of dvdfab with out uninstalling.

yes-i usually use nero to copy-copies of dvds and thats also not working all of a sudden-yes ive restarted the computer when these werent working-i did do a reinstall of dvdfab w/out unistall nothing changed-so i then uninstalled dvdfab and reinstalled-still samme problem & error…

please remove VSO software with this free tool
http://download2.vso-software.fr/CleanVSO.exe

then uninstall dvdfab

reset your dma with the dma reset tool
http://club.cdfreaks.com/f61/troubleshooting-enabling-checking-dma-windows-vista-xp-2000-me-9x-101616/

reinstall dvdfab

what are the symptoms of ner0 not working?

do i also remove the imgburn i downloaded? before doing what u receommend above?
the nero said-illegal disck could not perfome start of disc at once burn process failed at 2.4x…
BTW–Thanks im so stressing on this…

imgburn is a standalone .exe and will have no affect on other programs

do you still have dvdfab logs from last night?

C:\Documents and Settings\user name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log

can you post a full log containing the burning information?

this is some of the logs
