I looks like you are trying to copy to much data to the DVD. The log shows:

What I would do is to have DVDFab compress the DVD down to DVD-5. The other option would be to purchase some DVD-9’s (Dual Layer DVD’s, Verb’s are the recommened by most of the Freaks). You can also strip out the extra’s from the DVD so see if you can get the size down to fit a DVD-5 (Single Layer DVD).

I have settings set to 5 gigs so it should fit on noramal DVD…still no change.

#4

what dvd to dvd mode are you using?

105 HWS_TOOBIG // Files are too big to fit on a DVD+/-R(W)

please read the guide
http://www.dvdfab.com/docs/

change your settings back to 4300
http://www.dvdfab.com/docs/index.php/Main/SettingsWrite

and click dvd5

:disagree:
5 GB will not fit on an SL disc (aka…dvd 5, 4.7 GB dvd)
In reality, the maximum size is 4480 MB.
With good quality media, most users set target maximums ranging from 4460-4472 MB. You really don’t want to burn too close to the edge…

Ok, my bad. I guess I’m talking to “general”. I have an HP computer, and I’m using HP 4.7 GB +R Disk . I have chosen 5 DVD setting, and even set it as the default setting, I have the write settings set at 4300. ( I just used the 5 gig as the “general” setting in relation to the how the program uses DVD9 or DVD5.

Like I said I have ran this program over 5 times, and I get nothing.:o I’ve checked the settings, it just wont burn.

the dvd is not compressing for some reason. what dvd to dvd mode are you using?

I have the DVD 9 to DVD 5 mode set.

I downloaded IMGBURN and set the burn settings to use it.

Got all the way through. So I’m making headway.

But why doesn’t DVDFAB just "click and go with out an outside program…one I down loaded for free. Where as I paid DVDFAB for one click and go I thought?:rolleyes:

#9

I have two optical drives and the best I can do is two clicks. Put the source in one drive a blank SL disk in the other as the target, select main movie, make sure it is set to DVD-5. I click next then start and go enjoy an adult beverage!

Ooops I thought he was using Platinum

DVD FAB Decrypter does not compress, only DVD Fab Gold and Platnium, you will only get the non compressed ( DVD9) movie with the free decrypter.
