Did you just install this drive, if not open Device Manager and uninstall the drive and reboot the computer

Not visible where? In My Computer?

Does it apeear in Device Manager, and if so, does it have a yellow exclamation mark next to it, with an error code if you go into Properties?

A little more detail would be great. BTW, welcome to the forum.

try disconnecting the drive from the computer itself and reboot after the computer starts turn it back off then re-connect it and re-start the computer

Another suggestion - is the drive visible in the BIOS when you first boot up?

Are the master/slave jumpers set properly?

If it’s connected to the end of the flat cable inside your PC, the drive needs a jumper on the Master pins on the back of it; if it’s connected to the middle of the cable, the jumper needs to be set to Slave.
