Try RipIt4Me, but make sure you go into Logs/Settings, preferences & uncheck, check for updates at startup because there hasn’t been any in over a year & there won’t be any. Another option to rip it to your hard drive would be DvdFab HD Decrypter as used in the following. Posts #67 to #74, but please also read Post #78.

#4

Did you try DVDFab HD Decrypter,as was suggested?

#5

Try a DVD Burner not a CD Burner!

#6

Check the disc for scratches/smudges/fingerprints…
Try ‘File’ mode with DVDD…Try read/rip with a different drive…
Is it a new disc? Maybe try ISOBuster…

Did you set this, for single VOB backup?

“File Splitting: None”

It is about 1 month old, i took it and got it cleand and still did not work, but…

I LOVE YOU!
just one more question i hope…
I done it in file mode and it works but… is there a way to decrypt it all in to one file. like one big IFO file or VOB or BUP file?

Thank You Very Much.

#11

It’s been a while since I used DVDD, but go to Tools>settings> File Mode> File splitting> choose ‘None’…Hope that helps…

#12

nope it still split them… do you know any thing… like some freewere to compress them. i don’t know is compress is the right thing. or combine them

#13

So, you now have it ripped to HDD? Open with Shrink backup to single VOB, if no compression is needed, set to ‘No compression’, else more quality loss…Or try with Vobmerge (no re-encoding involved)…

Im sorry what is “shrink backup to single VOB”

#15

I don’t beleive DVDShrink has the “Shrink backup to single VOB” setting. If it does I would like to know where it is too.
This program might do what you need.I only used it once a while back.I don’t remeber what I was working on but it might do what you want.

It does…Just uncheck it here…

#17

Use DVD Decrypter in IFO mode with ‘File splitting’ set to ‘None’

#18

t0nee1 ;Thanks I will give that a try.

#19

t0nee1;If you set Shrink Split VOB files into GB size chunks (recommended).
You get a lot of even smaller .vob s But it was worth a try.
imkidd57 ; You method with DVD Decrypter worked.
There are 2 places to set to “none” I used both .
Ended up with an .ifo…txt & one .vob

@ cholla, you have to UNCHECK it…I guess you missed the “Just uncheck it here” part, see post #16
Now if you leave it checked ,then it will do exactly what it describes…
And fWIW, I also recommended DVDD, see post #11…I guess you also missed that part eh!..
