I just picked up a used LapTop a Dell Inspiron Pentium 3 running Windows 2000 NT.I downloaded Windows Media Player version 9 (this seems to be the latest version for Windows 2000) but it did not come with a DvD decoder.I wonder if you guys have any solutions for me?Either something that works with Windows Media Player version 9 or a stand alone player.Oh, and of course free is best.
a highly recommended free solution is VLC Media Player
P.S.: This question is in no way related to DVD Fab software

I am sorry, I did not know it needed to be related.

Another popular player is GOM for Windows, but VLC is more popular and cross platform (Linux, Windows, OS X)
VLC and GOM player are fine…but there are (free)codecs around that make your WMP9 play dvd’s… I recommend FFDShow, because that 1 doesn’t only support dvd,but many other formats as well, without the need for a huge codec pack, filled with incompatible codecs…
