That world “Power calibration fail” usually indicates your drive is dieing and need to be tossed out. If not you have to take it apart and use a lens cleaner cloth and lens spray cleaner solution to gently clean the laser lens. Then reassemble and try it again and see if you don’t get that error. If you still do then it’s time for replacement. I always tell people never use those darn cd/dvd lens cleaner disk they scratch your laser lens and don’t do a good job of getting all the dirt or grease off the lens and they shorten the life of the lens itself as well. That is what I do annually clean my laser lens of dirt and grease which help to extend the life of the drive itself. I even still have my old trusty 832SX liteon from 2000 and my new 20A4H working together.
