DVD burning error

Please excuse the start of a new thread (if existing is out there)
I’ve had a problem with my last tub of verbatim DVDPrintable discs
I’ve used these for a long time the last week with total success
I had an incompleted burn and attributed it to a one off then a day or two later a second then later a third not EVERY TIME
My Burners are Tsstcorp CDDDVDW Sh-s223L Ata internal
OS Wind 7
DVD software DVDFab 9072 I use this as my decoder AND WRITER
Discs are Verbatim printable cant see the code sorry
My query is – is it my Computer OS, the Burners, the DVD blanks or my error
visualy the distortion is similar in shape is this relevant ?? (way Beyond Me)
Help and Advice please

Though I’m not a DVDFab user, I am aware of the fact that DVDFab can use ImgBurn as its burning engine and virtually everyone recommends using it. Do you have ImgBurn installed and set up in DVDFab?

What’s the rated speed of these discs, and at what speed do you attempt to write them? Maybe, from the looks of it, these are a defective batch.

#4

Thank You Gentlemen
Speed was default but I’ll check – AUTO
I had a suspicion it COULD be Disc problem it has never happened before and is intermittent and the unknown has me scratching my head
But thanks for the Possible reasons And I will nag the suppliers after the holiday
Thanks to all

Please be sure to reply to Kerry’s question about ImgBurn, as well.

Looking at the odd places on the discs, Albert is probably right about this being a media issue.

Still, gotta plug Imgburn when I can.

The surprise comes with such a reliable product perhaps I’ve been fortunate in the lack of ‘coaster’ I’ve ended with it comes as a double shock
Thanks for the advice

Yes, ImgBurn is the way to go.
Use a moderate write speed, like 8X or less.
