[qanda]This thread is about the Pioneer DVR-215D. Click here to see full specs[/qanda]Hello guys,
I am new on this forum, and have seen u guys helping others real good, so wanna try my question here. My Pioneer 215DBK SATA can burn CD/DVD's but can't read CD/DVD's. If i enter a CD/DVD with something on it, it shows how many MB/GB it is, but as a empty disc. So i thought the burner is defect or something so i bought a new 1 but nothing changed. I checked the SATA cable's, SATA ports, BIOS downgrade/update and I even formatted my PC, but nothing. The odd thing is, when i remove the burner from the hardware list and search for new hardware/installing the drive. After that the drives can read CD/DVD's, but no Autoplay and it makes weard noises like my other drive. I know there is no problem with the Drives. When i received my PC everything was ok.
Can someone realy help me out, i am out of ideas :'(.
Btw. When i start my computer up, i have to w8 like 15 seconds at the Checking NVRAM screen, maybe this has something to do with that?
