You should not include your Nero serial number in your post. If you are too late to edit your post (within 20 minutes), contact a moderator to remove it for you.

#3

The error message can be caused by the following:

  1. Grade of media, try another brand of media like Fuji, Verbatium, Imation or
    Fuji.

  2. Old Firmware, check for any firmware updates from the recorder manufacturer’s web page. of the recorder. To check the version of the firmware installed in the recorder, select Programs-> Ahead Nero-> Nero ToolKit-> Nero Info Tool

  3. Ide Controllers: Check for any updates for the IDE controllers this can be done by visiting the motherbaord manufactures web page.

  4. Verify you have installed the most recent version of the Nero from the following web page: http://ww2.nero.com/us/nero-up.php.

Good advice, except for #3. For best optical drive preformance/compatibility it is recommended to use the stock IDE drivers that come with Windoze.
