what’s the best way to split a dvd9 so it fits onto 2 dvdrs?

DVDFab will make backups on one or multiple discs.

does it work when I want to backup a dvd with multiple episodes?

like it’s 4 eps per DVD9, so I would want to put 2 eps on each dvdr

don’t know. but i don’t see why not. just drag the episode titles across and proceed as explained. see what happens ?

that procedure removes all menus and extras right?..

yes, it’s a movie/main title only method

Both CloneDVD2 & DVD Shrink will also allow splitting onto multiple discs. However, if you wish to use multiple source discs for the titles, only Shrink will do it (out of the 2).

yes you need to download the css version from here http://www.dvdfab.com/download.htm
