My DH20A4P's are among my favorite DL burners, good choice in burners :flower:. Imgburn is a good choice for burning, too. One little tip for first-time user. When you come to the layer-break choice, choose one of the 50/50 options, seems to give more consistently good burns for me :).
However, DL DVDs cost 4x as DVD5. Thus DVD9 is not double
of DVD5, and I dont see any value here.
I suspect you don't have a 1080P TV or an upconverting DVD player yet :). Here's a heads-up for those of you shrinking your DVD's with Clone, Shrink, etc., to SL's. The difference in video quality when upconverted on big screen can make the cost of DL's very justified. Some DVD's at their original bitrate can look pretty close to bluray quality with a good upconverting player. Shrinking a disc to any less than 90% of original can make a VERY noticeable difference at 1080P/42"+:(. Since upgrading my TV and DVD player, I find that I can pay the price for DL's with a smile on my face .
In smaller quantities, Verbatim absolutely is your best choice. But if you find yourself burning enough DL's to justify buying a 50-pack, Falcon 8X DL's burn very well at 8X on the DH20A4P also :iagree:.
