Or NEC produced 2 mainboard parts/lasers. One for being able to write +r and one for -r. And sold the +r to HP and the -r to the mac writers… thus making about the double amount of money :+

ahh, who cares? get yourself a REAL computer… and THEN you can do whatever you want with it. The following would be an accurate description of someone trying to “tweak” a Mac… MacUser: Hello Mac. Someone will figure it out adventually. Maybe it is like this. Mac = DVD-R Windows = DVD+R
