Now. Do you see a yellow exclamation mark (!) next to your drive in Device Manager?
If so, what’s the error code number when you click the properties of the drive?

THANKS for all the infomration it worked. deleted the lower and upper filters, DMA was enabled already.
But this worked. You guys saved me lots of money thought I was going to have to go buy another dvd burner.
