I am trying to help my dad out with a problem. He has some desktop rig with Windows XP. He knows almost nothing about computers but he has a standard C: and D: drive. He keeps all of his music on his D: drive (which is an external drive). He is trying to download the newest version of iTunes, which as of now is 8.1 I believe. Every time he goes to download and install it, he gets an error message stating "Invalid drive K:\".
I asked him to open My Computer and he does not have a K: drive in there. I got him to open the Command Prompt and we were unable to locate or delete a K: drive with the "cd" or "rd" commands. That's about as far as my knowledge goes on trying to figure out the error message. Any ideas?
