Double Sided Media

I am using CloneDVD and I want to record some movies that are over two hours (they are three) so I heard that I could get a double sided DVD and of course the movie would fit on it.

I do not see an area in CloneDVD that allows me to say that I am using a double sided DVD. The quality meter is real low - 50% when I am trying to burn the Lord of the Rings and the Patriot, but CloneDVD is trying to compress the 3 hour movie into 2 hours.

Double Sided Media and writers supporting this do not exist yet.
CloneDVD2 allows you to set the desired output size.

Do you mean the DVDs you have to turn around in the player? I saw such once in an electronic market. They suck.

Better split it on two DVDs with the scissors in CloneDVD2.:slight_smile:

You’re right! I have confused “Double Sided” with “Dual Layer”.
