Does the 7200a have an eeprom(learnt media)?

I was wondering if it is possible that AD-7200a burns slower after a bad burn
(i.e. a learnt media function) like liteon drives?
Does it have an eeprom?
Thanks!

I don’t think the drive updates this kind of data somewhere. The only memory I am aware of is the flash memory where also booktype or region code changes are stored. There’s also an area for general drive calibration data, but I have not seen this data being changed after burning.

O.K. thanks, so when the speed in a 20x burn reaches about only
17x 18x towards the end of the burn it is normal?

See the graph below, which will show the highest speed possible for the amount of data burned to the disc.
