Does Nero 6 still have the MP3 encoding problems described at http://www.mp3-converter.com/decoders/nero_review.htm?
If so, would the LAME MP3 decoder plugin found at http://neroplugins.cd-rw.org/ fix the problem?

-Thanks

Just try it as described there, For Nero version 6, unzip the plugin DLL into “\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\AudioPlugins” directory, and pls report back.

Or just follow this advice :

Because the source files are in MP3 format.

MP3 tracks have a small silence at the beginning and end of tracks.
You have to manually remove that silence and then burn with a program that leaves no gaps when the size of the tracks is not a multiple of CD-DA sector, like Feurio.
You can easily see this in its Track Editor.
