I have it as the last one of my PDVD8 hw deinterlacing entries. I have an 8600GTS, Vista64 and PDVD8Standard.

Please, if anybody knows the way how DXVA2, EVR, PDVD8 and nVIDIA VP2 work together and knows what this specific deinterlace cap does, a short note would be great help.

Here are all my deinterlace caps:

{6CB69578-7617-4637-91E5-1C02DB810285} <-- Pixel Adaptive
{5A54A0C9-C7EC-4BD9-8EDE-F3C75DC4393B} <-- ?
{335AA36E-7884-43A4-9C91-7F87FAF3E37E}/BOB (Hardware Deinterlacing) <-- BOB
{B338D50D-A64A-4790-AC01-475B64252A78} <-- BOB
{F9F19DA5-3B09-4B2F-9D89-C64753E3EAAB} <-- ?
{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}/WEAVE (No Deinterlacing) <-- WEAVE
{4553D47F-EE7E-4E3F-9475-DBF1376C4810} ???

You know, it’s frustrating that I don’t know:

  • what {5A54A0C9-C7EC-4BD9-8EDE-F3C75DC4393B} and {F9F19DA5-3B09-4B2F-9D89-C64753E3EAAB} do as it’s not described in DXDiag.txt
  • why two BOB caps and what the difference is or if there is any difference at all

But {4553D47F-EE7E-4E3F-9475-DBF1376C4810} is not even listed in DXDiag.txt. And what is the empty line at the top for anyway??
