I but a 100 pack cakebox of Tyo Youden 8X DVD-R from www.canadacomputers.com for about 25$, The cd’s are slightly sticky from the side and have a Peachy/Orangy smell to them.

They sound legit, though looking for a code starting with ‘GG’ on the inner hub would confirm it. I’ve never heard of any online retailer advertising media as TY and shipping fakes either, so it’s highly unlikely that they’re fake IMO. BTW, a slightly tacky feel on the edge of TY discs is not unusual either.
