i bought a dell S199WFP lcd a few months ago in canada, and just last month i moved to hong kong, and for some reason the monitor lack a proper voltage stickie to indicate it’s output/input voltage, i’ve also checked the monitor manual but it doesn’t say anything about it being able to work overseas. now i have an 7 year old samsung LCD mon that works in both countries and i’m wondering if this new dell LCD will work as well.

the dell lcd does not use an external power supply, instead just a plug of your usual pc power cable to the rear socket of the lcd.

Hi,

Dell specs:

AC input voltage
100 to 240 VAC / 50 or 60 Hz +/- 3 Hz / 2.0A (max.)

Should work, normally.

Maybe you should ask Dell support.
