When I try to convert an MKV with H.264 video and AAC audio the program crash whith an avcodec.dll error. With MP4 (H.264+AAC too) the program gets freesed when the conversion start.
Would DivxtoDVD support this input formats in future versions?
Thanks, and sorry about my poor english :o
I know for a fact that H.264 is fully supported.
On the other hand, those MKV are containers and won't be fully supported.
It's what I have received as an answer from VSO.
I have never seen nor used MKV files/containers.
So, MP4 with H.264+AAC should work??
If they are not MKV Containers, plain .AVI MPEG4, or H.264 yes works for me !
DVD Santa 4.0 ( http://www.dvdsanta.com ) can read everything WMP can play, thanks to its DirectShow source filter. I was succesfully converting 70% of the MKV files on my HDD into DVD with it, only those with 5.1 AAC audio would fail.
