Hello everyone, I haven't been to these forums in a long time but now I have another problem. I'm trying to make a dvd from a movie that was prob riped off a PAL DVD but I don't think that matters b/c it's an AVI rip, the Problem I'm having is everytime I made a dvd and pick Widescreen in DivxToDVD it shows up as fullscreen on Hardware dvd players but on on pc it shows up as widescreen as it should, can you please help me ?I want to make it NTSC format type for my tv I also have another problem. I have subtitles for it and the srt's at the beginning should be 2 lines in the movie and only 1 displays and I've checked my original SSA copy many times and the timings are identical to the original SSA copy and when I launch the srt ones in vobsub they work perfectly ...just not on the dvd I made. anyways the main problem I want some help with is the widescreen showing up as full screen on hardware dvd players for tv's, also I noticed on the tab for changing NTSC or pal and the viewing ratio's..the Automatic resize field is blanked out and I can't change it?? is that why, I'm clueless as this was my first attempt for encode anything besides mp3's from cd's. if you need any info about the original file please just ask.
P.S DivxToDVD is awesome, was the only program that I found out of over 8 programs that would actually work
