A more interesting idea would have been a hardware card, instead of an external device. Imagine being able to have two or three of these devices in your computer, all doing seperate encodes, with the hardware of the card doing the dirty work. I guess the good thing about this device is that it can also do DVD/VCD encodes on the fly. No info as to the ability to use Divx pro features, tho.

The Specs say NTSC, PAL, SECAM TV Standard Support. When are we gonna get this baby in Europe ? Plextor.be doesn’t mention it yet…:c
