Perhaps if you do a search on divx on this forum you might find some useful info.

www.divx-digest.com

Those two links should help you out a bit as well.

if u wanna play avi\divx try bsplayer, which is contained in easydivx releases. it’s fantastic 4 avi playback!
wmp doesn’t let u choose details like aspect ratio and sometimes it could be hurting…
go here and download EasyDivx 0.81, the player is in the installation folder.
ah, if u want u could also use it to make ur own divx, just get a codec, like 4.12 or newer.
i 'd suggest u to stick with 4.12 if u r interested

Go there and get the codec package.

Nimo has taken most of the popular codecs and put them into 1 installer package. He’s done an excellent job too.

Gone are the days of getting a DivX clip and getting audio or video problems.

Nimo cures most DivX ills. He’s been doing it since DivX 3.1 was popular.

Be careful with the smilies you use, because if this expresses your feeling on this, I doubt anyone will be inclined to help you in the future…

Yea I agree w/u. It appears to be a codec problem.

And Nimo pack ROCKS !!! this utility will for sure solve all ur codecs problems. All the codecs u need, are there, all in one package.

And BSplayer has been improved a lot, I agree w/Auron. It’s an excellent option to play ur DivX Movies with.
