At this website i’ve found some very good and interesting ‘backgoundinformations’ about DVD-Media and their manufacturers.

The original text seems to be from the German C’t magazine, a very renowned tech-experts team.
So in the reading it gets really clear that the media-manufacturers have a very big portion for the mess with new burners.
