What type of disc do i use to backup a game on my pc (Alpha Prime)

Most games come on DVD disks these days, though some are still on CD. Use quality media (Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden) and you’ll probably need a commercial program to help make the backup as most games are copy-protected. Check out the copy protection forum here: http://club.cdfreaks.com/f80/

How old is that game? As of right now there isn’t a way to make a stand alone complete backup of game considering the many different protections schemes the software companies use you can only emulate or make a virtual drive and play the game. But for making actually working copy that isn’t possible right now.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve had this game 2 yrs I don’t have a hard copy It was downloaded from steam. I thought I should make a backup.

Steam has a procedure to back up your games so that you don’t have to download them again. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8794-YPHV-2033
