This is always been something I’ve never been entirely clear about.
What exactly is the difference between a (let’s be conservative) a good quality CDr disc like a Taiyo Yuden or a MAM gold disc and a pro pressed CD?
So some questions:
1.) Is a pro pressed CD necessarily of more superior quality/durability than one of the two CDrs mentioned above?
2.) Are there any physical differences between them?
3.) Would the data integrity of a pro pressed disc be better (less chance of data loss) than a CDr like MAM gold or Taiyo Yuden?
4.) are pro pressed CDs made of better material? I do notice that pro CDs don’t scratch as easily on the bottom surface.
