Did I damage my blank blurays?

They were all “locked” in the spindle on my sofa - I knocked the spindle over on its’ side. I’m probably paranoid, but this is coming from someone who didn’t buy media from a store because they stored them near a window.

No need for panic. You haven’t damaged your blu-ray discs by knocking the spindle on its side. You probably shouldn’t think about what they’ve gone through in shipping from the factory.

Scratches on the writing side of the disc and direct UV light are two of the biggest threats to optical media. High temperatures and high humidity are two other things that can possibly affect discs, though normal indoor conditions won’t hurt optical media.
