how can I enable jitter scan in cdspeed with a liteon DH20A4P manufactured on October 2007
all the scans shown in the forum with this drive have jitter scans, but not with me
and it’s real that jitter scan make wrong the pif and pie scans with this model of liteon ?

Hit the ADVANCED button on the Disk Quality screen and check jitter.

never heard of this, jitter is performed after the PIE/PIF, so i dont see how it would have any effect.

Jitter affects the results of most scanning drives, whether they report jitter or not. It is just something about the original BenQ drives that is affected so much more by jitter. Most other scanning drives can deal with higher jitter better.

Summation: In any case, you should get usable DVD scans out of the LiteOn.

yes indeed, but just the fact that jitter affects pif/pie scan not the fact of crossflashing

i have a 20A1P crossflashed to 20A4P and i have experience lower jitter scans
