Pulled them both off the shelf in the closet and decided to see how they still performed. Reloaded CK’s firmware and test the ‘P’ first. SB=on, all others off.

Add my name to the 20A4P fan club:clap:. This drive was my DL burning workhorse till the AD-7200A arrived. Still gives a repectable burn on Falcon DL’s. Haven’t been giving it the attention it deserves recently :o:).

Probably because, like me, you realized how good of a burner it was, and didn’t want to put any wear and tear on it since it was discontinued. :iagree:

Like the BenQ DW1640 and the Plextor PX-760A, the Lite-On DH-20A4P/H was one of the last great PATA drives.

Now, they even stopped making the Optiarc AD-7200A. :sad:

BTW, pfloyd1, where did you get that PRODISC R05? :flower:

You are absolutely right. The DH-20A4H is the best LiteOn drive that I have owned. Since I mainly use LiteOn drives for reading & scanning, (with the exception of the 20A4H which I used for burning) I bought an iHAS 122 A to avoid wear of the 20A4H drive.

The iHAS 122 A is not a great burner like the 20A4H, so this will be my new drive to put wear and tear on it. :stuck_out_tongue:
