basically my dvd/cd rom drive hasnt been working for months and ive waited till ive had internet to update the drivers and its up to date but still doesnt work… doesnt recognise a cd or dvd or game
its the

tsstcorp CDDVDW SH-S203N SCSI CDrom device driver

is it faulty? or do i need to update it from somewhere else??
WOULD BE GRATEFUL FOR ANY ADVICE!

have you tried using the System Restore function, to restore to a time when you know the drive worked? And, try taking the drive out of the pc it is in, and try it in another one. If it won’t work then, odds are it is bad. If one of those fixes it, you have a problem with something you have added to your pc, between the time the drive worked, and now.
