I have a Dell Inspiron 1520 with a TSSTCorp TS-L632H dvd-burner.
Suddenly it just stopped reading any media. I've tried cd-rw ,dvd+r, audio cd, mini dvd-r but nothing works.
The green led blinks for 2 seconds at most, and that's all !
I remember playing with the BookType settings in ImgBurn, then I reinstalled Windows, installed Daemon Tools, I wanted to erase a CD+RW, but it kept beign recognized as CD-ROM and I couldn't delete it.
I then used my desktop to erase it, and put it back in the laptop in order to burn an image. Then it wouldn't recognize it at all. I played again with ImgBurn's BookType options and I recall there was all "n/a" at the settings, so I couldn't set any book types.
Since then, it won't read anything.
I also tried flashing back to D500 (from D600) because it couldn't read an DVD+DL, and now flashed it back to D600.
Someone please help, I`m begining to despair !!
