Dell Inspiron 8200 Notebook DVD/CD-RW any good for CLONE CD

Hi All (just joined 7/7/03 6:08 PM GMT)

Can anyone tell me if the Dell 8200 laptop’s DVD/CD-RW any good for Clone CD is called a Sony 810E, or is this just a Desktop only program. I have the orignal version of Max Payne, and I would just like to test the burner to see if it works.

I have the original of MAX PAYNE and it uses SAFEDISK 2, what process would I use. I tryed one method and I was told to burn at x4, this would have taken hours (2% after 17mins) so I gave up. HERE IS SOME INFO ON MY DVD/CD-RW DRIVE

Use the SafeDisc AWS profile from here. The protection is 2.3x and should work with Amplify Weak Sectors. It does not check the ATIP unless you officially patch it (goes to SD 2.4x)
