Dedicated Burner Specs

I would like to setup a PC strictly for creating my backup copies w/DVDXCOPY 1.5.0. I am concerned about the system specs, particularly CPU.

The system I would like to use as a dedicated burner would be a Pentium 3 650MHz machine. Would this slower class CPU have a significant impact on rip speeds as well as burn speeds?

Please correct me if I’m wrong but the limiting factor in rip speeds typically revolves around your DVD ROM drive and not the CPU. Same goes for the actual burn process where the limiting factor is not the CPU but the speed of your burner and the media in use.

Anyone care to shed some light on this? Will the P3 650 be up to the job or am I hosed? Thanks
