I am spending some weeks in a mountain resort, and I wanted to have some movies to watch at nights. Instead of bringing a bunch of DVD-discs, I decided to copy my movies to an external hard disk that can be connected to a TV. This way I can watch the movies on a bigger screen.
So before I left, i spent a couple of days copying the DVDs into this external drive just by dragging the "video_ts" and "audio_ts" folders into the external drive.
Now I am here, and I found that most of the DVDs I have in the external drive cannot be played. After reading a bit on the internet, it must be that they are encrypted.
I have seen that there is software that decrypts the DVD when it is copied from the disc to the hard drive (like AnyDVD, for example). What I wonder is if there is any software that can decrypt these files that I already have in my external hard drive...
I know that I can wait to get back home again and redo the copying procedure with AnyDVD installed, but I still have a couple of weeks here, and it is going to be a little bit boring if I don't have these movies I counted on....
Can somebody help me?
