Hard disk drive manufacturer Seagate will not layoff 1,600 but 6,500 of its employees, about 14% of its entire workforce. The American technology company hopes to bring down its costs this way, which is needed due to lower demand of its products.

Didn’t they already lay off workers already? Sounds more like more Greed for EXC and saying we made a profit…

I think Seagate is getting hammered from two sides. One is a declining demand for hard drives. Two is the perception that their products are not the best quality. I have had bad experiences with Seagate drives failing over the years and I refuse to buy them anymore.
