Dead SN-S083A after flashing

Hi all,

I’ve a problem with TSST SN-S083A SATA drive. After flashing it’s invisible to the system and the bios. Drive came with S3200SH Intel server and needed to be flashed (blue screen during installation). I’ve followed instructions carefully and now LED on a drive is still on, also I was unable to open it. So maybe anyone has a suggestion how to fix it? Thanks for any help. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

PS. Sorry for my bad english.

Where did you get the flashing package from?

I would contact and ask them first.

I’ve found it on Intel support forum, but I doubt they can help. That’s why I’m asking for help on CDfreaks.

Just wonder. Is there any way to force a sflash to skip device detection? I mean to point a drive port (for ex. Primary master) and flash it?

Hi,

you might try the DOS flasher that is available from Dell (See FAQ for details).
Additionally you should contact Intel support since there was something wrong with the hardware you bought from them.
