DDP Images

I want to know if burned DDP images on CDs or DVDs, even if the tracks are SCMS protected and locked, can prevent users from ripping them?

They must not be encrypted so that they can play on anything, as long as the audio tracks are SCMS protected and locked.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

No, images can be extracted and copied very easily - after all, that’s what the CD pressing plant will do to your image. SCMS died a death for good reason and there is really little point in trying to copy protect an audio track as there are always ways to extract it digitally - even if it is just clicking ‘what you hear’ in the Windows audio control panel.
