GUY'S
DAVY JONES, who was one of the lead singers
of the sixties group the monkees,died this morning of
a heartattack. He will be missed by those of us who
grew up with him. GOD rest his soul.

Hey zap I had all their albums back in the day , don’t know what we saw in them ,maybe a fun loving group of guys .
Don’t know what happened to them all but they seem to have fun.

I saw Davy Jones in Florida back in May.

Really nice guy, very genuine and very friendly.

Sorry to see him go especially when ‘The Monkees’ were getting ready to go back on tour.

Here he is in full flow singing ‘Daydream Believer’ which has always been a favourite of mine.

This is my own photo so no one else has seen this before.

To be honest regardless of where people end up I think that all the people that have influenced us in various ways throughout our lives still live on in our memories.

You know I think I have this. It’s on a dvd called
MONKEES LIVE SUMMER TOUR. It’s too bad MIKE
NESMITH didn’t want to tour. However at least he did
get back together with them back in 1997.

They have been running a marathon all weekend of their TV show ‘The Monkees’ here in Portland, Oregon.

I watched the Monkees when they were on the first time.
I got to like their music & kind of outgrew it.
They still have a few songs I will listen to.
I thought this would make a good picture for here.
