Hi Ingvar_maskot & welcome to the CDFreaks !,

Do you mean those like in the picture ?

And how about other DVD-R media or any media in general ?

In the worst case you could willingly send them to me. Tack för din gåva !
Just kidding, I’ll buy those if you’d like to get rid of them.

AN31 DVD-R

These could also have infosmart01 or AN35 code.

Cheap low quality media that is not supported by all writers. Try getting other discs

I agree with OC-Freak.

See my comments under the thread http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=91309&highlight=GSA4081B

Whilst I haven’t tested performance, the info may help, and I’ll update as I progress with the four types of DVD media I have;
Maxell DVD-RAM (came boxed with drive)
Sony DVD+R
Fujifilm DVD+RW
Fujifilm DVD-R
(latter three all from dabs.com)

Datawrite yellow top work brilliant on these drives, well at least the GSA-4040B anyway.

I thought the yellows were Princos?

They are but they give far better k-probe results than,

TDK-R (TDK)
Arita+R (Ritek)
Philips+R (CMC)
Philips+R (CMC)
Maxell+R (MXL)
Memorex+R (CMC)
RITEK -R Overprints (supposedly Grade A)

for me at least.

Sorry one of the Phlips should have been
Philips+R (Philips)

Maxell doesn’t make +R…I think you mean MXL -R or Ricohjpn +R…

Good point they are
Disc Type = DVD+R (Single Layer)
Disc MID = 52 49 43 4F 48 4A 50 4E (RICOHJPN)
