Data Verification Failure on DVD-R DL using LG GSA-H10N

Hi there,
I have encountered on nero 7.5.7.0, data verification failure on verbatim dvd-r DL using my LG GSA-H10N burner all the time.
All looks fine when it says “Burn process completed successfully” but after doing data verification, it says “Data verification failed”. I even tested the disc on my panasonic home theatre. It managed to play the first few chapters but after that it couldnt move on to the next chapter. I have been trying to burn 7gb dvd movies that i downloaded over the net to these discs but all this while, they have been unsuccessful. Here is a copy of the log. Please help me.

You should burn DL media by using Imgburn…

And for useful verification use Nero cd dvd speed.

You could try burning the disc at the rated 4x as well as following chef’s advice, and using ImgBurn

Hi there, but i have only VIDEO_TS folder. I did not copy it as an image. So how do i go about burning using ImgBurn? Should i set the booktype in ImgBurn to DVD ROM or normal?

I would like to know is DVD+R DL or DVD-R DL more compatible with home dvd player? Does it really make a difference is the first place?

Then use the BUILD MODE in Imgburn.

Under the file system, which one should i choose? Are there anything that i should change as well to make it more compatible?

Where?

UDF 1.02 is most compatible.

Should i use dvd+r dl or dvd-r dl as the media so that i can play it on my dvd player? my burner supports both format.

Verbatim Dvd+R DL, Made in Singapore. Set Booktype for Dvd+R DL media to Dvd-Rom.

You can use the mediatype you want, but stay on the safe side and only use Verbatim DL and use Imgburn.
