Data DVD questions

Hi, all. This is a general sort of question. Not sure where to post it, but since I’ve never burned a DVD…and I’m new at it…
I want to write a data DVD using EZCD 5 and a NEC ND2500A writer. If I should decide to finalize it, how much room do I need to leave on the DVD for doing that? Should it be finalized? Is there an advantage to doing that?
Thanks much.

When writing an ISO data disc, you should use ‘No Multissesion’ feature,
which means that the DVD must be finalized anyway.
In fact, the ‘Finalize’ box is greyed in Nero.
