DAO / burnproof query

I like to use DOA for burning where ever possible, but I wonder does using burnproof protection, assuming it is called upon, defeat the ‘write without gaps feature of DOA’? By gaps I mean not writing using a continuos stream, although we I assume we are not concenred with any 2 sec gaps as per audio writing in TOA.

I have a plextor 241040a but that should be irrelevant.

Many thanks.

Burnproof does not interfere with or affect DAO recording in any way. It simply prevents buffer underruns. That’s all it does and nothing else.

As far as the recording is concerned, the audio stream is continuous (even if Burnproof allows the resumption of burning interruptions).
