… Waiting for someone here to post that this will be the “blu-ray killer” and how we’re all going to be sorry because we didn’t “wait for it” and how it’s “just around the corner…” … just like it has been since 1995. Here goes InPhase with their yearly “ME TOO!” posting… “holographic discs” have been “real soon now” for as long as I can remember. As soon as DPSS lasers go up in reliability and down in cost, then maybe, maybe, we might see some of this stuff released at an incredibly high price point to the enterprise sector. Meanwhile, if you’re counting on this to trounce the blue formats ‘any second now’, don’t hold your breath.
