Cybercriminals abuse a Google feature to trick users into downloading malware. Mails containing a link that apparently goes to Google.com actually redirect to a site distributing malware.

Or better yet, if you get an e-mail that says something about financial transactions you know nothing about, don’t click on anything in said e-mail. Just mark it as spam, and keep on the lookout for more spam. If the e-mail appears to have come from a friend, ask your friend before doing anything, preferably without the use of e-mail.
