The attacks were performed through malicious advertisements.
Here’s the biggest news why are you going to dark sites to get such malware in the first place? Good think I have PC hosts edit file that kills adware sites or redirects to stop malware advertisements.

I havent used IE in a long time, I like Chrome and Waterfox alot.
