Cutting DivX movies

Hi there, I’ve managed to convert The Twin Towers from DVD to a DivX movie and have ended up with a 829MB avi file. Is there a program that will split the file into smaller segments to burn to CDR? I’ve used Jiao VCDcutter before with VCD’s previously and have attempted to use All Video Splitter v 1.0.6 too but the audio goes out of sync.

Any tips?

I do want to re-encode as I prefer to have a better quality movie instead of fitting onto a single CDR.

By the way I’m using Dr DivX to encode.
