Can you tell me the best way to cut out unwanted piece of movie from the original DVD, but in such way so after removal of that unwanted piece I could burn the whole movie to DVDR without that unnecessary scene?
Do I have to cut out the whole cell or is it possible to cut out only a part of it?
Will the audio and subtitles be also removed after the removal of video?
Vobrator can be used to chop bits out of a movie, but I believe it can only do it by Cell. as you suggested.
If you converting the DVD to fit to a DVDR with a section removed, you can try using TMPGenc to re-encode as in it you can select the section you wish to encode only.
What about subtitles?
Is it possible remove exactly the same amount of audio + video+subtitles?

I’d like split DVD to 2 DVDR (at the VOB level) without re-encoding but with a section removed.
This would put the subs out but the amount of time you chopped out. You can edit your subs file manually to fix the problem. A big job really.
