CUE Burning issues

Hey all,

I’m attempting to burn an .“cue” file as it splits up a long mp3 i have into tracks.

I’ve attempted to burn it using Nero, Fireburner and Blindwrite and have had no success.

When i open the .cue file using nero, it just locks nero up

When i try to burn the file using Fireburner i get this error :
Thread1: Sense Error: ILLEGAL_REQUEST (INVALID FIELD IN PARAMETER LIST) (0x05 0x26 0x00)

Blindwrite just doesn’t allow me to burn it.

The mp3 itself works just fine, i think it must have something to do with the scripting in the .cue file. The filenames do match and i have removed some excess spaces in .cue itself.

Can anyone help me out

Cheers
Schismd

Although I have never used it personally for this task, the freeware Burrrn can also accomplish this.

Burrrn is a little tool for creating audio CDs with CD-Text from various audio files.
Supported formats are: wav, mp3, mpc, ogg, aac, mp4, ape, flac, ofr, wv, tta, m3u, pls and fpl playlists and cue sheets. You can also burn EAC’s noncompliant image + cue sheets! Burrrn can read all types of tags from all these formats (including ape tags in mp3). Burrrn uses cdrdao.exe for burning.

if you think there’s something wrong with the cue file then posting the contents of the cute file would be very helpful.

Here is the cue file i am trying to burn :

And the files are named like “track**”??

Exactly what does this mean?

What do you mean by excess space?

The modification of the .CUE file could be the source of your problem.

Also most burnware cannot create an audio CD from an MP3 by loading a .CUE sheet. Nero absolutely cannot do it and neither can BlindWrite. Not sure about Fireburner, never used the application.

Only a few burning applications can turn a single MP3 into an audio CD with track indices by way of a .CUE sheet.

And which may they be ??
